# Pakistan's government yield curve (PKRV)

The **PKRV** is the revaluation curve for Pakistan government securities, published daily by MUFAP. It's what banks and funds mark their bond books to. PakDataHub carries it **daily since January 2022 across 20 tenors**, plus the Islamic PKISRV curve.

## Today vs a year ago

| Tenor | 24 Sep 2025 | 24 Sep 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | 10.96% | 11.47% |
| 3 months | 10.88% | 11.52% |
| 6 months | 10.88% | 11.76% |
| 1 year | 11.00% | 12.11% |
| 3 years | 11.17% | 12.56% |
| 5 years | 11.48% | 12.57% |
| 10 years | 12.00% | 12.63% |
| 20 years | 12.43% | 12.78% |

The whole curve has shifted **up**, most at the short and middle end (about 110-140 basis points from 1 to 3 years), consistent with April 2026's policy-rate hike. It stays gently upward-sloping, about 130 bp from 1 month to 20 years.

## Pull the curve

```python
import httpx, pandas as pd
H = {"X-API-Key": "pk_live_xxx"}
tenors = ["1m", "3m", "6m", "1y", "2y", "3y", "5y", "10y", "15y", "20y"]
today = {t: httpx.get(f"https://api.pakdatahub.com/v1/series/rates.pkrv.{t}/latest", headers=H)
             .json()["data"][0]["value"] for t in tenors}
print(pd.Series(today))
```

The full daily history of one tenor:

```bash
curl -H "X-API-Key: pk_live_xxx" \
  "https://api.pakdatahub.com/v1/series/rates.pkrv.10y?sort=asc&limit=10000&format=csv"
```

**Tenors:** `rates.pkrv.1w`, `2w`, `1m`, `2m`, `3m`, `4m`, `6m`, `9m`, `1y` through `10y`, `15y`, `20y`. **Islamic curve:** `rates.pkisrv.1m`, `3m`, `6m`, `9m`, `1y`.
