# Raast in numbers

Raast, the State Bank of Pakistan's instant-payment system, is one of the fastest-growing payment rails anywhere. PakDataHub carries its quarterly figures from the SBP's Payment Systems Review.

## The growth

- **P2P** (person to person) is the bulk of it: Rs 18,884 bn across 664 million transfers in Q1 2026, which averages out to about **Rs 28,400** per transfer.
- **P2M** (person to merchant) is the one to watch: Rs 0.1 bn in Q1 2024, **Rs 319.6 bn** in Q1 2026, and 55.9 million transactions.
- **Bulk** (salaries and payouts): Rs 63 bn to **Rs 4,064 bn** over the same period.
