## Fuel prices (PSO, Rs per litre)

Every price notice in Pakistan State Oil's POL archive, May 2006 onward. Each value is the price **effective from its date until the next observation**. PSO now posts a notice most weekdays; we check twice a day.

PSO's archive has a few clerical slips. A notice dated out of the archive's own order (e.g. a "1 January 2006" placeholder between two 2011 notices) or a price more than 3 times away from both neighbouring notices (one petrol price of 2,222 between two of 64.27) is left out, not guessed at: ten notices and five single prices out of about 2,000.

## Power generation (NEPRA, monthly)

From NEPRA's State of Industry Report data: every power plant NEPRA lists (108 to 134 a year: WAPDA hydel, IPPs, nuclear, wind, solar and bagasse), FY2017-18 onward.

A plant renamed between years ("... Ltd." -> "... (Pvt.) Limited") keeps one series under its latest name. NEPRA publishes a new fiscal year once a year.
