KIBOR, the Karachi Interbank Offered Rate, is the benchmark most Pakistani loans are priced off. PakDataHub serves both today's fixings and daily history for every tenor since June 2005, straight from the State Bank of Pakistan.

Where KIBOR stands

On 24 September 2026 the fixings were:

Tenor Bid Offer
3-month 11.52% 11.77%
6-month 11.73% 11.98%
1-year 11.87% 12.37%
curl -H "X-API-Key: pk_live_xxx" \
  "https://api.pakdatahub.com/v1/series/rates.kibor.6m/latest"

Twenty years in one call

Each flagship id carries the full daily history back to June 2005 (from SBP's Structure of Interest Rates) plus today's fixing, with bid and offer in the side dimension:

curl -H "X-API-Key: pk_live_xxx" \
  "https://api.pakdatahub.com/v1/series/rates.kibor.3m?dims=side:offer&sort=asc&limit=10000&format=csv"

It shows the whole cycle:

  • June 2005: 3-month KIBOR offer at 8.23%.
  • July 2016: the low, 5.97%.
  • 14 September 2023: the peak, 24.04%, during the 2023 inflation fight.
  • Since then: back to about 11.7%.

Available tenors: rates.kibor.1w, .2w, .1m, .3m, .6m, .9m and .1y; the discontinued 2-year and 3-year tenors (.2y, .3y) run to February 2020. SBP's separate bid/offer series are also available, e.g. banking.six_months_karachi_interbank_bid.
