Questions
How current is the data?
It depends on the series: KIBOR, the policy rate and the PKRV yield curve are daily, retail prices weekly, inflation and exchange rates monthly, payments quarterly. Every series shows its cadence and next expected update, and the status page shows the last successful run per module.
How far back does it go?
PKR/USD to 1947, fund NAVs to 1996, inflation by group to 2015-16, digital payments to 2019. Each series page states its first observation.
Where does it come from?
Official public releases — the State Bank, the Bureau of Statistics, the Telecommunication Authority, MUFAP, PSO, ISMO, NEPRA and the Punjab and Sindh agriculture departments. Every figure links back to its source; the full list is on the sources & provenance page.
What happens when a number gets revised?
We store the revision and keep the original. On Pro you can request any series as it stood on a past date.
Can I get everything at once?
Yes — Pro and Business get nightly parquet and CSV snapshots of every module.
What formats?
JSON and CSV on every series endpoint, parquet for bulk. Python and JavaScript clients on PyPI and npm.
How does the free tier work?
The free plan includes 500 API calls every month, with every dataset and the last year of history — enough to build and test. Paid plans add deeper history, vintages, webhooks and the right to show the data in your own product.
