The State Bank of Pakistan publishes Pakistan's external debt every quarter in US dollars: what the government, the State Bank itself, public sector enterprises, banks and private companies owe to non-residents. It adds the foreign exchange liabilities that are not loans — deposits other central banks keep with SBP, currency swaps and the SDR allocation — and reports the total as external debt and liabilities.
Three tables sit behind the figures here: the outstanding stock by borrower and creditor (IMF, multilateral lenders such as the World Bank and ADB, Paris Club and other bilateral lenders, Eurobonds and sukuk, commercial loans), the quarterly debt servicing (principal and interest actually paid), and the sector-wise gross external debt position in the IMF's international presentation.
