Pakistan exports and imports

Monthly exports, imports and the trade balance, by product, service and partner country.

Latest figures

SBP records Pakistan's trade monthly on a balance-of-payments basis — exports and imports as paid through banks — for goods and for services. Textiles (knitwear, bedwear, readymade garments, cotton cloth and yarn) and rice are the biggest goods exports; petroleum, machinery, palm oil and chemicals the biggest imports. IT and telecom services are one of the largest services exports.

The same receipts are also published by commodity and by country, so you can follow exports to China, the USA or the UAE month by month. For customs-based trade by HS product code since 1990, see the trade explorer.
