Other items (net) encompasses all those activities of the banking system; which may not be specified by sector. OIN are valued on a net basis and are shown on the asset side of NDA. They include a range of items such as physical assets of bank (on assets side) capital and reserves (as a liability side); profit or losses of the central bank; valuation adjustment in respect of SBP¿s NFA resulting from exchange rate changes entailing unrealized profit or losses and any other items that have not been classified elsewhere. They also include the impact of SBP¿s money market operation. If SBP inject liquidity through reverse repo/discounting it increases its other assets and thereby an expansionary impact on its OIN. On the other hand; SBP¿s repo sales (mop-up) increases its other liabilities and thereby contraction in its OIN
